This is how to deal with 

Should be used in the event of:
  • Severed arteries
  • Massive traumatic amputation 
  • Uncontrollable bleeding
Applied in the order below to stop major blood loss:

1x SWAT-T Tourniquet (CAT Gen 7 available)
  • Applied above the wound to close the artery and reduce blood loss
1x Wound Clot 10cm x 10cm
  • Applied directly onto the wound and will clot blood in seconds
1x Z fold Gauze
  • Packed on top of the wound to put pressure on to the wound
1x Trauma Dressing
  • Wrapped around tightly over the wound for further direct pressure
1x Gloves
  • There will be blood, lots of it. If you have time, glove up.
